Build a cinematic portfolio site with Instinctor. Full-screen project images, depth parallax, kinetic heading animations, and a contact form.
Open the Instinctor admin, go to Pages, and add a new page. Name it Portfolio or use your own name if this is a personal site. Open it in the Impulse builder. In Page Settings, set the transition to Fade and scroll behavior to Snap. A fade transition between full-screen sections feels clean for image-heavy creative work.
The first screen is your introduction. Add a Title block with your name or studio name. In the title settings, set the font size to 72 pixels on desktop and 40 on mobile. Choose Kinetic mode and set animation to Scramble, which reveals each character with a randomized transition. Set the environment background to one of the options in the screen settings panel, such as Aurora or Starfield, to give the opening screen depth without a photo.
Add a second screen for your first project. Place an Image block and upload the project photo. Click Generate depth map to add parallax depth. Set the depth strength based on the image. A landscape photo with a clear subject and background works best. Below the image, add a Title block for the project name and a small text block for a one-line description. Keep it minimal.
Add another screen for a project overview. Use a Grid block set to three columns on desktop and one column on mobile. Inside each grid cell, place an Image block and a Title block. This gives visitors a visual index of your work. Each grid cell can link to a separate page for each project if you want detail pages.
Add a screen for a short bio. Use a two-column Row block: place a portrait photo in the left column and a Text block in the right column. Write two or three short paragraphs about your background and the type of work you do. Avoid lists here. Paragraph text reads more naturally for personal introductions.
Add a final screen with a Contact block. Set the form to collect name, email, and message. In the Contact block settings, add your email address as the recipient. You can also connect SMS or WhatsApp notifications in the Settings panel under Chat so new contact form submissions reach your phone. Set the submit button label to something direct, like Send a message.
In the page SEO panel, upload your best project image as the Open Graph image. This is what appears when someone shares your portfolio link on social media. Write a short meta description, two sentences at most, describing the type of work you do and who you work with. Publish the page and test the share preview using a social card testing tool.
