Two ways to get a site on Instinctor

Build it yourself: Subscribe to the Pro license ($29.90/month), register a site on platform.instinctor.com, and build it in the Impulse editor. Your site goes live at instinctor.com/yourname/yourslug when you publish.

Get a support pack: Contact the Instinctor team for a support pack. The team builds the site and trains you to manage it. After the pack ends, you run it yourself on the $29.90/month license. Reach out via instinctor.com.

Self-serve setup flow

Subscribe at instinctor.com (monthly or annual)

Create a new site: choose a slug (this becomes your URL), fill in store name and info in Settings > Store Info

Open the Impulse editor and add your first page

Add sections and blocks. The Instagent section generator can build a complete section from a short description.

Set up SEO: title and meta description per page, configure the sitemap

Enable Chat if you want AI-powered customer support

Publish. The site is live at your URL.

For WordPress users

Install the Instinctor plugin from WordPress.org or download the zip from instinctor.com. Activate it. The free tier gives you the Impulse builder immediately. To unlock Pro features, enter your license key in the plugin settings. The same $29.90/month license covers the WP plugin.

What to set up first

Before building pages, fill in Settings > Store Info. This data feeds Instagent (the AI), the SEO defaults, and the Instagent section generator. The AI uses the business description and tone settings to answer customer questions. A blank store profile produces generic AI responses.

Required fields for best results:

Store name
Industry
Business description (what the business does, who it serves)
Target audience
Tone (friendly, professional, concise)

Building your first page

Pages are built section by section. Add a new page, click Add Section, and choose a section type. Each section has a background (color, image, video, or 3D effect) and contains blocks (heading, text, image, button, etc.).

The Instagent generator is in the left panel under the section list. Select a section type (hero, features, pricing, etc.), write a one-sentence brief, and Instagent builds the section with copy drawn from your store profile.

Going live with a custom domain

By default the site is at instinctor.com/:user/:slug. To use a custom domain:

Purchase a domain from any registrar

In platform.instinctor.com, go to Site Settings > Domain

Add your domain and follow the DNS instructions (A record pointing to Instinctor's server IP)

DNS propagation takes up to 48 hours. SSL is issued automatically after propagation.

Publishing

Click Publish in the editor to push the current draft live. The editor saves a draft continuously; publishing is a deliberate action. Visitors always see the last published version until the next publish.

Getting help

The Help panel inside the editor (bottom-right button) opens Instagent in builder mode. It can answer questions about any block, setting, or workflow. For billing, account, or technical issues, use the support form on instinctor.com.
