Ecommerce
Instinctor includes a full ecommerce system in the platform license. No separate ecommerce plugin or third-party service required.
What is included
- Product catalog: physical and digital products
- Variant support: size, color, and custom option groups
- Inventory tracking
- Cart and checkout flow
- Stripe payment processing
- Order management dashboard
- Customer records
- Email and SMS order notifications
- Tax and shipping configuration
Setting up a store
The store is enabled in Settings. Once active, the product catalog is available in the admin. Products are added directly: title, description, images, pricing, variants, stock level. The Product Grid block in Impulse pulls from this catalog and displays it on any page.
Checkout
Checkout is handled on-platform. Customers add to cart, enter shipping details, and pay via Stripe. No redirect to a third-party checkout page. Stripe is the only payment processor currently supported.
Order management
Orders appear in the Orders workspace. Each order shows the customer, items, payment status, and fulfillment status. Basic order management (status updates, notes) is handled in the dashboard. Detailed fulfillment workflows (label printing, carrier integrations) are not currently in the platform.
Digital products
Digital products are supported. After purchase, the platform delivers a download link by email. File hosting is on Instinctor's servers.
Instagent and ecommerce
When Instagent (AI chat) is enabled alongside ecommerce, the AI has access to the customer's order history and cart contents. It can answer questions about an existing order, provide tracking status (if manually updated), or recommend products. The data is pulled in real time from the store.
Ecommerce vs WooCommerce
WooCommerce on WordPress is free to install but commonly requires paid add-ons for features like subscriptions, bookings, and Stripe integration. Managing a WooCommerce stack typically adds $30 to $80/month in plugin costs on top of hosting. Instinctor's ecommerce is included in the $29.90 platform fee with no separate add-ons for the core features.
Ecommerce availability
Ecommerce is a Pro feature. It is included in the $29.90/month platform license and the Pro WordPress license. It is not available in the free WordPress plugin tier.
