The fine print
Payouts: Monthly, on the 1st, via Stripe Connect. Minimum payout $25, balances under that roll over to the next month.
Commissions start month 1. If a referred customer refunds within their first 30 days, the matching commission reverses. After 30 days, refunds don't claw back.
Duration: $10/month per active referral for 12 months from their first paid month. After 12 months, that signup stops earning commission. Maximum payout per signup: $120. No cap on the number of referrals you can bring in.
What's not allowed: incentivized clicks (paying people to click your link), false claims about the product, bidding on the word "Instinctor" in paid search. Standard affiliate ethics, anything that'd get you kicked off Webflow or Shopify's programs gets you kicked off ours.

- Do I need to be an Instinctor customer to refer?
- No. You don't need a subscription, you don't need to be a designer. If you have an audience, you can refer.
- How many sites can I refer?
- No cap on referrals. Every active site you refer pays $10/month for 12 months. After that, payouts on that signup end and you focus on bringing in new ones.
- What happens when a referred customer cancels?
- You earn for every month they're a paying customer. When they cancel, you stop earning from that site, but you keep the payments you've already received.
- Why is the program capped at 12 months?
- Front-loading the payout keeps the math clean. You know exactly what you earn per signup, $120, paid as $10 a month over a year. After the year ends, payouts on that signup stop and you focus on bringing in new ones.
- What about refunds?
- Customers can refund within 30 days. If they do, the matching commission reverses. Beyond 30 days, refunds don't affect your earnings.
- How do I track my referrals?
- We email you a monthly statement with click counts, active referrals, and earnings to date. A self-serve dashboard is on the roadmap.
- What's the cookie window?
- 90 days. If someone clicks your link, you have 90 days for them to sign up before the attribution expires.
