Refund Policy
Last updated: July 13, 2026
Instinctor is a subscription service. This policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work. It applies to every Instinctor plan, including the monthly plan, the managed plan, hosting, and any annual plan, and forms part of our Terms of Service.
Subscriptions and billing
When you subscribe, you authorize us to charge your payment method the plan fee on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you chose) until you cancel. Prices are shown before you pay and may change, with notice, for future billing periods.
All payments are non-refundable
Except where this policy or the law says otherwise, all fees are final and non-refundable. This includes:
- payments for the current billing period, whether or not you used the service during it;
- partial periods, unused time, or time remaining after you cancel or downgrade;
- setup, design, or one-time fees once work on them has begun.
We do not provide refunds or credits for partial months or years, and we do not pro-rate on cancellation, except as stated under "Consumers in the EU and UK" below or where a refund is required by law.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard, or by contacting support@instinctor.com.
- Monthly plans without a minimum term: cancelling stops future charges. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, then does not renew. The payment for the current period is not refunded.
- Plans with a minimum term (for example, the managed plan's initial term): you commit to that term when you subscribe. You can cancel renewal so the plan ends when the term does, but fees for the agreed term remain due and are not refunded.
- Annual plans: the annual fee covers the full year and is not refundable. Cancelling stops the plan from renewing for the next year; it does not refund the current year or convert it to a monthly rate.
Cancelling does not immediately delete your account or content unless you ask us to. See our Terms of Service for what happens to your site and data after a plan ends.
When we may still issue a refund
At our discretion, or where required, we may refund:
- a duplicate charge or a clear billing error on our side;
- a charge made after a valid cancellation took effect;
- any amount we are legally required to refund.
If you think you were charged in error, contact support@instinctor.com within 30 days and we will look into it.
Chargebacks
If you have a billing problem, please contact us first; we can almost always sort it out faster than a dispute. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute instead of contacting us, on a charge that is valid under this policy, may lead to suspension or termination of your account and the loss of access to your site.
Consumers in the EU and UK
If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days.
Because Instinctor is a digital service that starts as soon as you subscribe, by subscribing you expressly request that we begin providing the service during the 14-day period, and you acknowledge this. If you withdraw within 14 days, you remain responsible for a proportionate amount for the service actually provided up to the moment you tell us you are withdrawing; the balance is refunded. Nothing in this policy limits any right you have that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.
Free trials and free plans
If a plan includes a free trial or a free tier, you will not be charged for it. If a paid plan follows a trial, cancel before the trial ends to avoid the charge; once a paid period begins, the charge for that period is non-refundable under this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes apply to billing periods that start after the change. The current version is always posted here.
