3D PRINT SHOP SOFTWARE, BY INSTINCTOR

Their model, in the filament they pick Priced by the gram, automatically

A print shop site that quotes from the customer's own file. They upload an STL, 3MF or OBJ, watch it turn on the page in the filament they picked, and get a price with the grams, the hours and the volume behind it. We build the whole thing for you, tuned to be found on Google, so the people who need a part come to you instead of a marketplace.
QUOTING IS THE BOTTLENECK
Most shops quote by hand. A stranger emails a file, you open it in a slicer, work out grams and hours, and reply later that day. By then plenty of them have ordered elsewhere, and the ones who do come back start the whole exchange over again.
Instinctor prices the file the moment it lands, on your rates, and the order reaches you by email with the model and the filament the customer chose. No slicer, no reply to write, and no marketplace taking a cut of a customer you found yourself.
TRY IT
Spin one, change the filament
These are print files, not photographs. Drag to turn one, or pick a filament and watch the silk shift as it moves.
Spiral vase
Spiral tower
Twisted column
Instant quoting
A visitor uploads an STL, 3MF or OBJ and gets a price on the spot: weight in grams, hours on the printer and volume in cubic centimeters, as a breakdown rather than a bare number.
The print file is the product
Their actual model renders live and turns as the page scrolls, with a full 360 degree spin on hover and a lean toward the cursor. We convert your slicer file into a web model, decimated to a web budget with the rim and the open top rebuilt properly, so one print file replaces a photo shoot.
Color that behaves like filament
Color chips restyle the model live, so they see the filament they are choosing. Silk filaments are real gradient ramps rather than flat colors, so a vase changes color as it turns. Ten filaments in the library, and you can extend the list for your own shop.
Priced on your numbers
Cost per kilo, printer-hour rate, margin and minimum order are yours to set. Pricing runs on the server, because a price worked out in the browser is a price the customer can change, and a part larger than your build volume is turned away before it is quoted.
Ordering without a checkout
The model, filament, quantity and notes travel into the order and reach you by email. No cart and no payment rails, and the choice survives a reload.
Chat that fits the trade
It answers questions on your services, your prices and your turnaround, and a visitor who would rather just send the file can attach the print file in the conversation.

COMPETING FOR YOUR OWN NAME

Get found, keep the job

Search for a 3D printing service right now and a marketplace is probably sitting at the top, taking a commission on work the shops behind it actually do. We build your site fast, search-ready and tied to your Google profile, so it can compete for your own name, and whoever lands on it orders from you directly.
Built to be found
Fast, clean, search-ready pages tied to your Google profile, so your own site competes for your name instead of ceding it to the marketplaces.
Ready for local search
Your materials, your build volume and your turnaround are readable to Google, so you have a real shot when somebody nearby needs a part.
Keep the customer
They land on your site, get a price, order from you directly and join your list, so the next job skips the marketplace for good.
WHY SWITCH

One system instead of a middleman

Print marketplaces take a cut of every job and keep the customer as theirs. Quoting by hand loses the ones in a hurry. One system prices the file instantly, sends you the order, and leaves the relationship with you.

QUESTIONS

Good to know

The site measures the model it is sent and returns the weight in grams, the hours on the printer and the volume in cubic centimeters. It prices those against your cost per kilo, your printer-hour rate, your handling charge, your margin and your minimum order. The work is done on the server, because a price worked out in the browser is a price the customer can change.
Infill, yes. A print is costed as a dense shell around a sparse core at your infill setting, not as a solid block and not as bare infill either, because costing it as pure infill underquotes every thin-walled part, which is most of what a vase or a shade is. Supports are not weighed: they sit in the handling charge along with cleanup and packing, which you also set.
Filament by weight at your cost per kilo, printer time at your hourly rate, and handling for removing supports, cleaning up and packing. Your margin goes on top, and a minimum applies so a three gram keyring is not quoted at pennies.
STL, 3MF and OBJ, the formats every CAD tool and slicer already exports. The part is checked against your build volume, so nothing larger than your machine gets quoted.
No. Asking who somebody is before telling them what something costs loses most of them at the first screen, so the quote is open to anyone.
Yes, and that is the point of showing it. The model turns on the page and the color chips restyle it live, so a silk filament shifts as it rotates rather than sitting there as a flat swatch. Whatever they had selected travels through to the order.
No. There is no cart and no payment rails to set up. The order arrives in your inbox with the model, the filament, the quantity and the notes, and you take payment however you already do.
No. The print file is the product: the model renders live on the page and turns as they scroll. We convert your slicer file into a web model, so one file replaces a photo shoot.
No, and you never will. The moment you subscribe, our team designs and builds your site, your quoting and your ordering for you. All we need is your printers, your filaments and your rates. You see the finished site before anything is published.
