The question people search for is whether they own the output. The more useful question is what you can actually do with it: change it, move it elsewhere, and take your customers with you.
If the site lives on a subdomain of theirs, the audience you build belongs to that address, not to you.
Can you change it without them?
A price, a photo, an opening hour. If that needs a support ticket or a prompt, you are renting.
Can you take it with you?
Ask before you commit: does the design travel, or does leaving mean starting the layout again from nothing?
Who holds the customer list?
The most valuable thing a site produces. Whoever can export it is the one who really owns it.
Whose account is it in?
The domain, the payment account and the analytics should be registered to you, not to whoever built it.
How we do it
Your domain, your content, your customer list, and a visual editor so changing it never needs us.
HOW WE DO IT
Three steps, no cost to find out
1
Tell us about the business
What you sell, who buys it, how the money actually arrives.
2
A designer builds it
A person lays out the site and wires the store, bookings and chat behind it.
3
You decide
See the finished site working before you commit to anything.
QUESTIONS
Before you ask
Do I own the content an AI generated for my site?01
Broadly you can use it, and the terms vary by tool, so read them. The sharper question is whether you can edit and move it, because a page you cannot change is not an asset you control.
Can I export an AI-built site to my own hosting?02
Some tools allow an export, many do not, and an export that produces unusable markup is not really portable. Ask before you build a business on it.
What do I own with a site you build?03
The domain is registered to you, the content is yours, the customer list is yours, and you can leave and take all of it.
What does it cost?04
The design and the build cost nothing. You pay only the standard costs every website has: domain, hosting, software license. No design fee, and no cut of your sales.
Why would this be free?05
The free-design program is operated through Instinctor Design Academy. Academy-trained designers build real business websites under senior professional supervision, and every site is reviewed before you see it.
