A REAL 3D MODEL ON A WEB PAGE

Not a video of one, not a turntable of baked frames. An actual model in the page, lit by a studio environment and turned by the scroll. Drop in one of the ready-made shapes or upload your own, pick a surface, set how far it leans.

THE SCROLL TURNS IT

Rotation tracks the block's progress through the viewport, so the page itself is what turns the object: scroll back and it unwinds. A slow idle spin runs underneath that, as the second motion rather than the first. On a phone the model answers the tilt of the handset instead.

TWENTY SURFACES NOT TWENTY COLORS

Gold, silver, chrome, copper, brass, brushed steel, gunmetal, glass, plastic, rubber, matte paint and nine silk filaments that shift color with the viewing angle. Forty-five textured surfaces on top of those: stone, concrete, wood, leather, denim, ice, water, weathered metal. All of it lit by a studio environment, which is why the metals read as metal.

OR YOUR OWN MODEL

Upload a GLB or a glTF and it is on the page. Upload an STL, the format every printable part is already in, and it is converted for you. This one is the Instinctor mark, in silk red-gold.

TURNING, OR FACING YOU

Two models, two jobs. The tower turns and leans twenty degrees, which suits a shape with nothing to read on it. The phone holds its front to the visitor and does not move, which is what anything with a screen, a label or a logo on one side needs.

A BOX OF ITS OWN

The same engine can put one model behind the whole page and turn it as the visitor moves from screen to screen. That is beautiful and it only works when almost nothing else is on the screen, because any real content sits on top of the model and buries it. So the model also gets a box in the flow, with its own height per device and a cap at seventy percent of the screen, where nothing competes with it and the page below it does not jump when it loads.

SEE WHAT ELSE IT DOES

The 3D model block is one of forty ways Impulse builds a page. Every block is made the same way.
